Nigeria international Brown Ideye splashed the sum of a hundred and ten thousand Naira on Dolphins after a 2-0 home win over his former club Bayelsa United.
The Dynamo Kiev striker, who is currently holidaying in Port Harcourt after he was left out of Nigeria World Cup squad, was at the Liberation Stadium to watch the Week 15 game and after the match presented the cash to the winning team.
“Hundred thousand Naira is for winning the game and the extra ten thousand is for the two goals scored in the game,” Ideye said while making the presentation.
Ideye, who won the Ukraine Cup this past season, played for Bayelsa United and Ocean Boys in the Nigeria league before he moved to Europe.
