Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o has revealed that he doesn't fear 2014 FIFA World Cup hosts Brazil.
Eto'o conceded that ‘A Selecao’ will be favourites on home soil and although the Indomitable Lions will respect their opponents, they shouldn't fear the likes of Brazil.
The 33-year-old, who has attracted a lot of media attention leading up to the showpiece event, insisted that he doesn't fear Brazil, recalling Cameroon’s triumph over the South Americans on their way to the gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
"We respect all our opponents," Eto'o told Cafonline.com.
"It is true that Brazil will be favourites, but excuse me I am not afraid of this team.
"I have played against this team in my career and we beat the Brazilians in the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
"There was in the team, Ronaldinho and many others. Eto'o is not afraid, Cameroon did not fear."
The Indomitable Lions were drawn in Group A alongside Cameroon, Croatia and Mexico.
