Initial troubles for Chad in Nigeria
Chad have been hit by twin troubles as they prepare to face Nigeria in Saturday's African Nation's Cup qualifier.
The squad arrived in Nigeria late on Thursday night, only to discover that they did not like the Hamdala Hotel lodgings reserved for them by their own advance party.
Following numerous complaints of shoddy arrangements by hosts, new CAF regulations now require visiting teams to be responsible for their own accommodation arrangements during away games.
With Chad unhappy about their earlier arrangements, NFF officials helped the delegation secure better lodgings at Asaa Hotel.
That was not to be all. On arrival, the squad discovered that their equipment had been left behind by the airline in Europe.
Officials were forced to go shopping for training equipment in time for their only pre-game training session at the match venue.
