Super Eagles will travel with a big party to Congo
Nigeria's Super Eagles head to Congo looking for the win that will keep their qualifying hopes in their own hands.
Unlike their last away trip, when chaos within the federation meant that the team travelled with a skeletal delegation, that will not be the case when they board the Discovery Air Boeing 737-400.
On this occasion, they will be led by the NFF President himself Amaju Pinnick. He will be accompanied by high ranking members of Nigeria's parliament. Senator Adamu Gumba, chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, and Hon Mudashiru Oyetunde, a member of the House of Representatives committee on Sports.
Also in the travelling party will be 20 members of the official Nigerian Football Supporters Club, and a posse of journalists.
This has led to a full aircraft, with some names being dropped from the trip.
It represents a stark contrast to their last trip when the plane to Sudan was practically empty.
Could this be the tonic the Super Eagles need to get the win that will take them over the finish line?
What are your thoughts?
Let the players pull together on the field of play. Move together and fight for one another! Anything other than this will spell doom. I believe they can pull it off though!
