The Sudan stadium pitch is now easy for the Super Eagles
True to their promise to drain the pitch ahead of Saturday's game, officials have got the surface at the Khartoum International Stadium in near pristine condition.
"We don't normally have rain in Sudan," an official told ColinUdoh.com. "It was a Friday, and the workers were off so there was no one to turn the drainage system on, that is what caused the water logging yesterday."
Although there is 25% chance of rain forecast, he assured that even if it rains, the system will be up to the task of draining the pitch.
Let's go boys! We can do this, Team Nigeria!
