Efe Ambrose has strongly refuted reports that he will quit international football after being unceremoniously left out of Nigeria's last game against Sudan in Abuja.
Media reports claimed that the defender, who was not listed for the game, was overheard telling a close friend that he was displeased at the manner of the snub.
But Ambrose, 25, told ColinUdoh.com on Saturday that there was no truth to the reports
"It is totally false story. They want to use me but they cannot damage my image," Ambrose said.
He also threatened legal action against the publications which carried the story
"This is my image. I will sue anybody who writes this false story without conforming from me before publishing."
