Mikel Obi made a humorous arrival at the Super Eagles camp, when he showed up for lunch wearing protective gloves against ebola.
The Chelsea midfielder was one of 8 players who arrived on Tuesday afternoon to swell the ranks to 17.
“Coach I have up to four hand gloves and if you don’t mind, I can hand one pair to you,” Mikel jokingly told Keshi.
Joining him on arrival were Ahmed Musa, Ogenyi Onazi, Efe Ambrose, Kenneth Omeruo, Juwon Oshaniwa, Sone Aluko, John Mikel Obi and stand-in captain Austin Ejide.
Earlier arrivals were Godfrey Oboabona, Kunle Odunlami, Azubuike Egwueke, Gbolahan Salami, Chigozie Agbim, Solomon Osadunna, Nosa Igiebor, Uche Nwofor and Ramon Azeez.
With captain Vincent Enyeama having withdrawn for family reasons, Keshi has called up Elkanemi keeper David Obiazor.
“We have been monitoring the Nigerian league and we see that the keeper of Elkanemi is a talent, that is why we want to give him a trial.
"We will see how it turns out when he arrives camp,” Keshi said
