Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has surprisingly left out striker Emmanuel Emenike from his starting team to play Congo in Saturday's 2015 African Nations qualifier.
Emenike, an offensive stalwart for the Nigeria team, has been replaced by Uche Nwofor but is listed on the bench in a move that suggests that Keshi could be trying to keep him fresh for Wednesday's clash against South Africa.
In midfield, Ramon Azeez has beat out competition from Nosa Igiebor and Joel Obi to join Ogenyi Onazi and Mikel Obi while Nnamdi Oduamadi completes a forward trio that also includes Ahmed Musa.
