Fake Nigeria jerseys go on sale
Just over a month after adidas unveiled the Nigeria 2014 World Cup jerseys, cheap knockoffs have gone on sale.
The knockoffs look almost exactly the same as the real thing, with a few differences.
An obvious step-away from the original is the poorer quality of the material but the makers did slightly more, adding a collar to the shirt.
They also included the logo of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to the right sleeve, a badge on the front declaring Nigeria as 2013 African champions and three gold stars above the NFF logo for Nigeria's three Nations Cup victories.
A commercial bike rider told ColinUdoh.com that he bought the shirt for cheap
"I bought it at New Market in Ajah for N1000," he said. "But this is the cheapest one. There is another type that is N5000."
The original shirt, as sold in official stores retails for N15 500.
